Walking around a lake is nice, or maybe going to see a small venue show... Coffee is cool but just seems so cliche, coffee needs to happen naturally after some other activity. I love going to the movies but it makes a crappy 1st date sitting in relative silence with someone you haven't spoken to for more than an hour. I think dinner and drinks are a great start. maybe not in that order though.
