Shy & reserved at times but only because I'm choosing to be so. Very outgoing when I want as well. Love the goth subculture especially as it was around 1997, 98, 99. I'm definitely much more of a "romantic goth". If I have to throw out some band names or authors here then: Nancy Collins (Sunglasses After Dark), Bella Morte, Dead Can Dance, Blutengel, Wolfsheim, et cetera. And yes, Edvard Munch is a favorite artist of mine. I miss the usenet culture and I've never been to New Orleans (but wouldn't mind making the trip to help clean/repair the damage done to the cemeteries by Katrina). Would love to attend Convergence or even Mera Luna someday...someday.

The two of us, alone or with others, going to different parts of the city to just explore/wander. Stopping as the evening went out to night to eat and enjoy conversation at a table somewhere. Then perhaps to a club (?) or just driving through the night. We'd trade music, stop places to look things up on a computer to show one another, then continue on.

I've quit trying to pinpoint my "life goal" anymore. "Living the financial dream" and "success" are terms best left to late night infomercials for instructional CDs of how to sell junk on eBay. My goal for _right now_, one of them at least, is to find that person I want so badly to find. Does that make me "desperate"? No, it makes me determined.

I have no singular idea of fun. What is fun always will depend on who I'm with, obviously. If I had to give an example though, I miss the small, close gothic community here, meeting up at an IHOP or going to a club (not that any goth clubs exist here anymore). Driving at night when the traffic is low and landscaped areas beckon you from the road with their lights & shadows. Exploring the unseen insides of large buildings, where people typically don't go.

It's difficult to describe. I'm not looking for a shocked, quiet, mundane person. I'm looking for someone whose appearance makes me yearn to be with them then & there and who I can actually learn new things from. Someone who controls the situation as much as I. An organizer, a promoter, yet takes the time to themselves to be contemplative and ultimately creative.
